While researching adjustable beds on the Internet, I came across a glowing recommendation for an Axel Bloom bed.  When I discovered there was only one showroom 3000 miles away, I was understandably leery.  I felt I would not be able to buy a bed without trying it out!  But one call to Yong Lee put those qualms aside.  Yong took the time to answer a myriad of questions.  He followed up with photographs of the various beds in the showroom, as well as a lengthy conversation with my husband.  Throughout our interactions, he was the consummate professional.  Generous with his time, even on an early Sunday morning, he explained the various features so well that we felt comfortable making the decision, sight unseen, to purchase a king size Austroflex system comprised of 2 twin Xl units complete with mattresses.  

Yong is very detail oriented and made us feel completely at ease.  Not only was he interested in helping us find the right bed, he regaled us with funny and interesting anecdotes that still make me smile as I type this.  Our relationship has only blossomed since then.  At every stage Yong kept us apprised.  He emailed the tracking number with the shipping information to the upholstery shop tasked with building our custom bed, and he included detailed installation instructions for the shop as well. The upholsterer was duly impressed.  Yong made the process so incredibly easy.   

Too often, once the sale is done, we never hear from companies again.  Not Yong.  He made sure the upholsterer did not have any follow up questions and insisted we call him once the bed was delivered.  

We are now the happy recipients of an Axel Bloom system that has far exceeded our expectations.  

We have just spent the first few days using our new king Austroflex adjustable bed, and we are happy campers.  We love to read in bed and the adjustments we can bring about with the handy remotes make reading comfortable, relaxing, and pleasurable again. Within just a few days, both of us feel far more refreshed in the morning and the aches and pains that have plagued us for a few years are magically disappearing.

Not Have Imagined the Improvement in Sleeping Comfort!

I purchased a double king size bed about two months ago from Axelbloom Beds & Sofas in Los Angeles, CA.  The owners gave personal care in answering all our questions. Yong Lee, the President of the company even delivered and helped install my new bed and mattresses as promised and on my time schedule.  After the installation, I was told if I had any questions or problems, be sure and call.  Everything has gone very well and with a product that far exceeds my expectations.  

My story started several years ago as the aging process brought new challenges.  I developed health issues such as acid reflux, sinusitis, minor heart disease, leg cramps, tendonitis, and general aches from arthritis.  Much of this was annoying, but I dealt with it by piling pillows at the head of the bed to raise my upper body to gain some relief.  

My wife had tried for years to have me look at an adjustable  bed, but I did not want a hospital bed or similar adjustable bed and I refused to look or purchase.  Finally, she was tired of hearing me choke during the night and the more frequent coughing fits.  I did not sleep much at night and my pain level was increasing.  She and my son finally got me to go and test the units at Axel Bloom.  It was easy to operate and the owners answered all my questions without any sales pressure.  

At home I quietly reflected on my experience and decided to purchase a unit.  I have been sleeping on it almost two months.  I am more than satisfied and actually surprised with the difference it has made with my ailments and sleeping experience.  I would not have imagined the improvement in my sleeping comfort.  The manufacture of the bed frame and componnents are exceptionally well made. Because of my experience with the system, I am strongly thinking of getting another bed for our other property in Northern California.

Memory Foam Pillows Disperse Heat Better

We recently purchased an Austrian sleep system composed of 2 twin X-long Silver Star bed bases and DW 400 mattresses from Axel Bloom and are very pleased with it. Both my husband and I found the mattresses and slat bases extremely comfortable from the fist night on.

Our previous standard American king size pillow top mattress developed a ridge down the middle early on which caused me to roll away from the middle as well as causing the arm I most frequently rested to fall asleep regularly. So far I have not experienced any of these problems on our DW 400 mattresses.

Also, by placing 2 twin slat bases next to each other we eliminated any energy transfer resulting in improved sleep. The memory foam pillows we purchased from Axel Bloom are easy on the neck and disperse heat much better than the standard memory foam pillows that I had used before.

Mr. Yong Lee, owner of the company, was very professional and courteous and was a pleasure to work with. He took a personal interest to make sure that we would get just the right sleep components and assisted us with any questions we had.

Perfect Fit & Beautiful Bed

We love the bed! It is fantastic. Thanks so much for all your kind help in choosing the bed and helping us put it together. The fit could not be more perfect and the bed looks beautiful. I had placed the back mattress stopper in backwards so it looked really funny but we figured it out before we got your picture. I am glad that David was able to also figure out the problem of two surge protectors in line with each other. I bought another (Better) one and used the old one as an extension cord.

Finally got my bed assembled! Thank you very much for all the help you have given me. I unpacked everything, except the mattress, last night. This morning, Heath and Zach, unpacked the mattress and assembled the bed. Heath and Zach do maintenance for this building, but the tenants here also hire them to do work for their units. During the assembly process, both of them were very impressed with customer service provided by Yong, the material and the craftsmanship of the bed, and the ease of installation. They recognize real furniture when they see it. They finally commented that the bed must have cost an astronomical sum and had to ask how much I paid for it. When they finished, Heath was impressed with our communication with you using Apple FaceTime and Zach said he had to look up AxelBloom.

True German Sleep System

My wife and I bought a Berlin mattress and Silverstar GT suspension about six weeks ago. Not only was the sales process and service first rate, but we absolutely love the product! My wife is from Switzerland and I lived there for a good part of my life. We are therefore both more accustomed to German sleep systems and were never quite comfortable with what was normally available here in the United States. Also, after sleeping on a memory foam mattress for four years, my wife developed very painful backaches. Enter Axel Bloom. The past six weeks have done wonders for my wife's back, and I would never want to do without the luxury of our new mattress.
