While researching adjustable beds on the Internet, I came across a glowing recommendation for an Axel Bloom bed.  When I discovered there was only one showroom 3000 miles away, I was understandably leery.  I felt I would not be able to buy a bed without trying it out!  But one call to Yong Lee put those qualms aside.  Yong took the time to answer a myriad of questions.  He followed up with photographs of the various beds in the showroom, as well as a lengthy conversation with my husband.  Throughout our interactions, he was the consummate professional.  Generous with his time, even on an early Sunday morning, he explained the various features so well that we felt comfortable making the decision, sight unseen, to purchase a king size Austroflex system comprised of 2 twin Xl units complete with mattresses.  

Yong is very detail oriented and made us feel completely at ease.  Not only was he interested in helping us find the right bed, he regaled us with funny and interesting anecdotes that still make me smile as I type this.  Our relationship has only blossomed since then.  At every stage Yong kept us apprised.  He emailed the tracking number with the shipping information to the upholstery shop tasked with building our custom bed, and he included detailed installation instructions for the shop as well. The upholsterer was duly impressed.  Yong made the process so incredibly easy.   

Too often, once the sale is done, we never hear from companies again.  Not Yong.  He made sure the upholsterer did not have any follow up questions and insisted we call him once the bed was delivered.  

We are now the happy recipients of an Axel Bloom system that has far exceeded our expectations.  

We have just spent the first few days using our new king Austroflex adjustable bed, and we are happy campers.  We love to read in bed and the adjustments we can bring about with the handy remotes make reading comfortable, relaxing, and pleasurable again. Within just a few days, both of us feel far more refreshed in the morning and the aches and pains that have plagued us for a few years are magically disappearing.

Adjustable for the Head & Feet

I want to let you know that I am very satisfied with the sleep technology system that I purchased from Axel Bloom. I realized immediate relief from my back and hip problem after only one night of sleep. The fact that the system is adjustable at both ends, head and feet, is important in establishing the superiority of this system. The system separates easily, making cleaning easy and serves to keep the system from being unwieldy. All in all, an outstanding value. I congratulate Axel Bloom for offering the consumer this fine product.

Adjustable Bed with Comfort & Design

Two years ago I was diagnosed with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease or GERD. GERD is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. In my case, I developed GERD due to a hiatal hernia. One of the recommendations from my doctor was to sleep with my upper torso elevated at least 30 degrees. At the beginning I used pillows. I found another pillow on the Internet that I used for a year, but I felt that I never had a good nights sleep.

After constant neck and waist pain, my husband and I decided to look for an adjustable bed. We saw many adjustable beds but none of them offered a comfortable mattress and a beautiful design as well. After doing some research, we found Axel Bloom. Axel Bloom is a European system, with an amazing technology and a superb design.

Two months ago we finally bought our bed. I am able to adjust the mattress to the perfect angle that I need. Also, I don't need to adjust it every night, because I can program it and it is in the memory of the remote control. We are very pleased with our new bed, we feel well rested every morning, I don't have any symptoms of GERD and my aches and pains have disappeared. And the bed looks beautiful in our bedroom.

The Cat's Meow

Axel Bloom Beds are the Cat's Meow! Take it from me: Jack Appel. I can't wait to get into bed at night. Pant. Before Dad and Mum. I like resting my head on my stuffed doggy toy for snoozing. I wouldn't sleep on any other bed. Believe me, in eight years, I have slept ONLY in an Axel Bloom Adjustable Bed: one in Lake Tahoe, the other in Los Angeles.

No More Joint Stiffness!

I have spent the first week in your bed...it is awesome. I no longer awake with joint stiffness, I can sleep on my back because I can have my legs elevated which reduces suffering from "restless leg syndrome," and my dogs can sleep next to me in total luxury!! They don't even mind sleeping in the "crack!" It really is comfortable, Yong. Thanks for all your help. If I had beds that had more use, I would buy more. Think I will get one for my daughter when she gets her first apartment after college next year!

Range of Motion

Hi Yong,

Just a quick note to let you know I love the bed!! The last two nights have been the best rest I've gotten in a long time. I am particularly impressed with how smooth the motor adjusts the bed as well as the range of motion. Thank you to you, Cara and your team for coming out to our home and making the delivery and installation so easy. And, thank you to Bonnie for the flawless arrangements.

The entire Axel Bloom purchasing experience..from the first visit to the store to installation...was a pleasure. You did take the time to answer questions and encouraged us to take our time to try the various mattress systems.

The Best Sleep

Sleep glorious Sleep..I have not had a good night s sleep in years. In fact, I thought I had a-top-of-the-line mattress and box spring. Yet, I would wake up numerous times during the night to either adjust my head or knee pillow to provide me with some kind of comfort and back support.

Well, last night was the first night I slept on my new Axelbloom bed and frankly it was the best sleep I have had in years. The adjustable features of the system enabled me, for the first time, to sleep without a pillow between my knees. I was able to adjust my bed to my best comfort level.

I have told my friends what a big difference it makes to get a good night s sleep. I also encouraged them to skip next year vacation plans and to invest in a good night s sleep which will last longer than a short vacation.

No More Back Pain

When I visited Axel Bloom, I was walking with a cane. My back was hurting and I could not turn my neck to look over my shoulder. My niece was due to visit me in August 2010 and I was planning to take her to Las Vegas on holiday. I was thinking it would be the last time I would visit Las Vegas because the walk through the airport terminal from the airplane to the curb is so long, and I was in pain.

I got my Austroflex Electric Adjustable bed and Austroflex EMC 180 mattress delivered just before my niece arrived. I usually wake up at least 5 times a night. The first night sleeping on the new bed system took some adjustment. However, on the 2nd night, I raised the head of the bed a little. I went to sleep at 9 p.m. I woke up once at midnight to use the restroom. I went back to sleep until 5 a.m. I had never slept this long through the night before!

When I woke up in the morning, I was lying on my back and I could feel the blood pumping through my back area. I have had no back pain since then. …..AND I have no problem turning my neck now. The mattress molds to my neck, even when I am sleeping on my side. The mattress is soft enough that it compresses where my shoulder is, and it still supports my neck.

I am now ready to go on my next trip to Las Vegas with friends in January 2011. I am even confident enough to make the trip by myself! I am not worried about travelling alone anymore, because, now I can walk without a cane and I have no more pain!
