The Berlin bed frame was designed for the German market. It has a bold stance: tall and substantial with clean "square" lines - about 22 inches from the floor, for an amazingly comfortable sleep. There are two choices of bed frames.

Bed Frame with Integrated Electric Adjustable System and Matching Exterior and Interior Fabric

One choice is where the bed frame and the electric adjustable system are assembled as one unit for a complete and integrated look. The adjustable motorized system is hidden within the lower bed frame, tucked out of way and silent in operation. The exterior and interior surfaces of the bed frame are covered in the fabric of your choice. Furthermore, the adjustable system has a layer of our Cold foam on top of the Vitaflex suspension system for a plusher suspension. This suspension is further covered with a linen fabric and the fabric of your choice to match the look of the rest of the bed frame.

For a King or Queen-size system, there are two separate units for each sleeper which can be physically separate or placed side-by-side. It is designed with deep foot boards and a thick mattress (9 inches thick). Each bed frame units rests on four wooden or aluminum feet. Because there are two units with adjustable backs, some customers do not require a headboard. If you wish to have a headboard, it can be ordered in the same fabric to your measurements in height and width. The head board can be low profile or made to a height which you can customize. They are held in place with a special locking mechanism so you can rest securely with your back to the headboard.

Bed Frame with Headboard, without Integrated Adjustable System, with Matching Exterior and Interior Fabric

The bed frame is one unit in Twin, Queen and King sizes. Since it does not include an electric adjustable system, the price is lower than the integrated system above. The exterior and interior surfaces of the bed frame are covered in the fabric of your choice. The head board can be low profile or made to a height which you can customize. Any of our bed suspensions systems: flat, manually-adjustable or electrically-adjustable can be assembled with the Berlin bed frame.

WIDE CHOICE OF FABRICS

The bed frame is entirely fabric-covered and that includes the bed base. You have a choice of more than 20 fabrics to choose from. The fabric is made by Germany's "Rolls Royce" (tm) of fabric manufacturers: Backhausen. As a supplier to the "Wiener Wekstatte", Backhausen's fabrics have been shaping the image of high-class, artistically-inspired upholstery fabrics since the art nouveau period.

THE ULTIMATE CUSTOM HI-TECH BED - HYBRID MATTRESS

The classic lines are complimented by an advanced hybrid mattress which combines 400 microsprings encased in our unique foam technology for airflow, comfort and support. If you wish, instead of our mattress, you may use your existing mattress and put it on this bed frame. We can custom make the frame to match the dimensions of your mattress.

Finally, one can add mattress toppers (3 inches thick) for a more custom sleep. We have a latex topper for a firmer sleep experience or a super-luxurious visco-memory foam topper for an unbelievably comfortable sleep. The toppers have individual covers which can be unzipped and machine washed and dried. These toppers can be made as one King or Queen piece to span the surface of the two underlying bed frames or as half-King or half-Queen units.
